This is a great book for Ramen lovers of all ages. The recipes might be understandable by children, but as the author points out - this type of cooking should always be done under the supervision of an adult.The recipes are easy to make AND they sound delicious (some have pictures, but you can easily use your imagination). This is a Cooking with Kids Series by Debbie Madson. She has a great talent for taking a well known and simple product and with the addition of other well known items can completely transform a meal to look and taste great.
At our upcoming family gathering we are going to set up an adult-supervised "Ramen Cooking Station" so the kids can choose their own Ramen flavor and learn to follow the instructions in the book. What a great way to teach the kids how to cook a simple meal, yet start them down the path of cooking.
This book will be very helpful in our cooking activities. Well written, easy to read and give the kids a start at becoming junior chefs. Well worth the purchase price. Highly recommended.

This book as a great selection of recipes for noddle dishes.
My daughter likes noddles, with these recipes we have so many more choices of dishes and more importantly they look nice, which encourages everyone to eat better!
Definitely one for the kitchen book shelf.
This book is a short read with easy to make recipes for the everyday Ramen addict. It offers a lot of creative, unique recipes, and cooking activities that you can share with your loved ones. I especially enjoyed the "Ramen Soup" recipes. Will be trying them out soon!
Not much, boil, cool and eat. I didn't find much different in this book that I hadn't already tried. I've had to live on a Ramen diet in the past, its not much fun. This book only offered a couple of variations that I hadn't thought of. If you're new to the world of Top Ramen or any of the other Ramen noodles, maybe it could be helpful.
Ive always been one to experiment with ramen noodles myself, but Ms Madson has come up with quite a few original recipes in her book that I'm definitely going to try. Great recipes for people who want something different but dont want to spend all day making it!!
Cooking noodles with kids is easy and a delight with this recipe book. As the recipes are not time consuming any interested kid is given enough opportunity to fully embrace the inner chef! And are very suitable to do with a group of kids for a party. But feel free to try these as an adult as what is easy for a kid is easy for an adult too! And the recipes leave enough room for kids' creativity. So when is dinner ready?
I didn't know you could be this creative with Ramen noodles. This book comes with such a creative and fun combination of recipes . It will come handy on all those short on time day or nights when cooking is the least of the worries. So many outstanding recipes and kid friendly. Kids can help out and feel great about helping the parents. I am loving the ramen tukey slaw. This book is a nice addition to my cookbook collection.
OK overall. Not sure why this book is called Kids cooking series, in our family the recipes fit the adults better because kids do not like a lot of the ingredients. There is a total 22 recipes from Ramen Noodle with Shrimp Gravy to Lettuce wraps. The recipes are pretty simple. The book has some photos but not for every recipe. It has no information of how many people each recipe will feed, it has no caloric information, and no estimate of how long the prep takes for any of the recipes.
